5 Random Songs on my Ipod Shuffle I love music as much as I love my children. So here's a few choice songs I've been listening to lately. If you haven't heard or downloaded them yet, get to it! 1. "Tears Dry on Their Own" - Amy Winehouse I'll be the first to admit how much I disliked her when I first heard about her/saw her. But as time went on, she really grew on me. The sultry, deep tones of her voice, the bad ass girl feel of her songs, I enjoy them all. This song is one of my favorites, and there is even a remix version that is pretty cool. 2. "Stronger" - Kanye West Here's another artist I never thought I'd be listening to, and now I find myself gravitating towards his music. This song in particular. Not the best lyrical message, but man what a great jam for the gym. 3. "Ring of Fire" - Johnny Cash A bit out of the ordinary, but not for me! Crocheter's Block!

Crocheting has been a very big part of my life for the last few years. Not only does it give me a sense of accomplishment, but it's also something that I can do quietly, alone, and just about anywhere I go. But right now I'm having a bit of a dry spell. I've made more baby blankets than I can count. No more blankets. Lately every time I start a project, I work on it for a few days, then put it down. I currently have about 4 projects in 4 seperate tote bags sadly waiting to be worked on. What's holding me back? Is it my lack of skill? Am I fresh out of creativity? Will I ever finish another project? If you have something you desperately need crocheted please let me know. Maybe I just need a swift kick in the ass!

So this is what real life is like?

Actually, I could continue to stay home if I chose to, but I think I've lost enough brain cells, and it's time to get back into the swing of things. But never did I imagine the stressful confusion that would result from me being out of the house for 8 hours a day. I have the same schedule as the kids which helps, but it just seems like there are now less hours in the day. When do you do laundry? How do you prep dinner ahead of time? What if I need that one extra item from the store last minute? When do I catch up on my Facebook?(kidding on the last one!) I know some moms say it's harder to be a stay-at-home mom, and some say it's harder to balance work and home. Now that I've officially tried both, I can't say being a working mom is 'harder', but I can say it requires a lot more juggling and organization. So kudos to all of m
